Z-Borg

Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 11, 2026

1. Overview

Z-Borg ("we", "our", or "the Service") is an AI blog generation platform. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account Information

When you sign in with Google OAuth, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture. We use this data solely to identify you, authenticate sessions, and authorize access to the dashboard.

2.2 Application Data

When you register an app, we store its name, domain, a hashed API key, and the markdown knowledge files you provide. Generated blog posts are stored alongside the originating app.

2.3 Usage Logs

We log API requests, IP addresses, and rate-limit counters for abuse prevention and operational monitoring. These logs are retained for a limited period and are not sold or shared.

3. How We Use Information

  • Authenticate you and keep your dashboard secure.
  • Generate and serve blog posts scoped to your registered apps.
  • Enforce rate limits and prevent abuse of the public API.
  • Communicate service updates and critical security notices.

4. Third-Party Services

Z-Borg relies on the following third parties strictly to deliver the Service:

  • Google OAuth — authentication.
  • Sumopod / Claude API — AI content generation.
  • PostgreSQL hosting provider — data storage.

We only send each provider the minimum data necessary. Your knowledge files and generated posts are sent to the Claude API to perform generation.

5. Data Retention

Account and application data are retained for as long as your account is active. You may delete your apps, knowledge files, and generated posts from the dashboard at any time. Deleted records are removed from the primary database; backups roll off on a standard cycle.

6. Your Rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at the email below. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

7. Security

API keys are stored as hashes. Sessions use secure, HTTP-only cookies. Rate limiting is enforced at both IP and application levels. No system is perfectly secure, but we apply industry standard practices to protect your data.

8. Children's Privacy

Z-Borg is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
